Hoosick Falls Junior Girl Scout Troop 1104 Visits Kimberly Farms

Hoosick Falls Junior Girl Scout Troop 1104 recently earned their Horse Fun merit badge while visiting Kimberly Farms in North Bennington. The girls went on a tour of the stables and learned about different breeds of horses. They also learned about the horses diets, equipment/tack used with the horses and about the different styles of riding. The girls "met" each of the horses and then went on a trail ride. The girls wrapped up their afternoon around the campfire enjoying smores.

Special thanks to John Taylor, Keith Giglio, Patti Bradley, Sonja DeHeer, Tammy Schnoop and Jonah Slagen(HF BS Troop 65) for volunteering their time for the troop.
