2nd Annual Hoosick Hometown Days

The schedule has been set for this year's 2nd Annual Hoosick Hometown Days. Stop down for a fun filled family weekend at the Hoosick Falls Athletic Fields. From Noon until 10 p.m. August 3rd and 4th, this community event will feature something for everyone! The grounds will be filled with vendors, concessions by local non-profit organizations, local musical talent, and a dunking booth. Amyland Amusements will be setting up some of their best rides and carnival games for the weekend. Wrist bands for rides will be available for $25. St. Mary's Academy will be providing all of your favorite carnival foods throughout the weekend.

Here is a tentative schedule of planned events:

Thursday August 2: 
6 p.m. Police vs Fire Deparments softball game at Little League fields.

Friday, August 3: 
Best Sound DJ all day, performance by Hoosick Falls Central School Jazz Band at 1:00 p.m.,
Flag Youth Football Game at 4:00,
Texas Hold 'Em Tournament in the skating rink at 6:00 p.m., and
Hooville Homebrew performing from 7-9:30 p.m.

Saturday, August 4:
Pancake Breakfast from 8-11:00 a.m.,
Car Show sponsored by local Girl Scouts from 10 a.m.-3:00 p.m.,
Alice in Chains, Unplugged performing from 1-2:30 p.m.,  
Chicken Barbecue 4-7:00 p.m.,
Ric DiDonato performing 5-6:00 p.m.,
Joe Shaw & Chuck Karr,
Together Again performing 6-8:30 p.m.
To cap off the event, the skies of Hoosick Falls will be lit up with a fantastic display by Alonzo Fireworks after dark.
