Texas Hold 'em Tournament to Benefit ADAPT

On Saturday, April 23, 2011, ADAPT will hold a Texas Hold 'em Tournament Fundraiser with hosts Rick Ferrannini and Rick Tinkham at the North Hoosick Fire Department on Route 22 in North Hoosick.

The doors will open at 12:30 pm for registration, and game play begins at 1:00 pm. No advance registration is required. Entry fee is $35, with $10 going to benefit ADAPT. There will be a re-buy at 2:30 pm for $35 (with $10 going to ADAPT). Refreshments will be for sale with proceeds benefiting ADAPT; and 50% of a 50-50 raffle will also benefit ADAPT. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

ADAPT is the Alcohol Drug Abuse Prevention Team of Hoosick Falls Central School Class of 2012 parents/guardians hosting the substance-free after-prom celebration. Next ADAPT Planning Meeting

ADAPT (Alcohol Drug Abuse Prevention Team), a committee responsible for planning and hosting a safe, substance-free after-prom celebration for the junior and their guests, is underway with its planning sessions.

The committee began meeting in late January, and is having regular meetings every other Tuesday in the HFCS Elementary School library from 6:30 to 8:30pm. The next meeting will be held on April 26, 2011.
