WCW, Inc., Makes a Difference for ADAPT and Local Resident

ADAPT, the alcohol drug abuse prevention team hosting the substance-free after-prom celebration for the HFCS Class of 2012, is winding down its fundraising efforts as the prom is just around the corner (May 21-22, 2011).

One of its more successful fundraisers was due to the generosity of WCW, Inc. In addition to a monetary contribution, WCW donated a complete bed set (mattress, foundation, and frame) for a "Sleep Tight" bed raffle to benefit ADAPT. On May 7, Lisa Prebble was notified by ADAPT Co-Chair Cheryl Downing that she can now "sleep tight" as she is the lucky winner of a bed system of her choice. "It was extremely exciting to tell Ms. Prebble about her prize; there is nothing like making someone's day more special," said Downing.
