Hoosick Rising Update Let's get to work!  Hoosick is on an exciting journey. Over the past several months, we've learned about emerging economic development trends in rural communities and what it takes for successful planning initiatives, identified our Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats, and discussed project ideas to keep Hoosick Rising. At the last meeting, participants voted on which project ideas they felt were the most important to get started right away. Click here for the voting results and list of project ideas. Now we begin the hardest part: Moving from "planning" to "doing".

We need area residents who are positive, energetic, and concerned about the future of our area. Now is the time to step up and get involved in one of the project committees we're forming. The projects we will be focusing on have the potential to affect our area in a positive way for the next 1 to 20+ years.  To let us know which project(s) you're interested in being apart of, just fill out this online form.  Do you have graphic design skills? We need someone to help design a business card for the Hoosick Community before our next Hoosick Rising meeting.
