Hoosick Fire District

Please take notice that the Annual Election of the Hoosick Fire District will take place on December 13, 2016 between 6pm and 9pm at the Hoosick Fire Station located at 664 South Street in Hoosick, NY for the purpose of an election of one Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing on January 1, 2017 and ending December 31, 2021, and one commissioner for a two (2) year term to fill a vacancy, commencing on January 1, 2017 and ending on December 31, 2018.

All duly registered residents of Hoosick shall be eligible to vote. Anyone wishing to become a candidate should file their name with the District Secretary located at PO Box 100, Hoosick, NY 12089 by November 23, 2016. A petition with twenty five Hoosick Fire District Residents signatures is required.
