Hoosick Falls, NY--On Saturday evening October 28, 2017, Little Sprouts and HAYC3 partnered to coordinate a night of safe Halloween fun at the First Annual Trunk or Treat.
Held in Wood Memorial Park, the event proved to be a HUGE success with over a thousand of Hoosick costumed youth and their families enjoying trunks laden with sweet treats created by community residents and local businesses.
Renee Parker, owner of Little Sprouts, was thrilled with the turnout. “It was a perfect night for the community to come together for some seasonal fun, show off some creative costumes and enjoy some sweets.”
According to Aelish Nealon, Executive Director of HAYC3, “The turnout was beyond our expectation but added to the fun atmosphere. We’re already talking about ways to add to next year’s event.”
Nealon also noted that awards were given out in three costume categories: the Koronas family took first prize for the scariest; the Morse family took the funniest; and most creative went to the Gallese family.
Special thank you to the Village of Hoosick falls, the Hoosick Falls Police and Fire Department for supporting this event.
