Scouts Learn the Steps

On Friday, April 1, 2011, the Hoosick Falls Central School Elementary Cafeteria came alive with music and movement when local Girl Scout Troop #1259 hosted a dance session where fellow scouts learned proper stretching and warm-up techniques and dance moves from instructor Heather Stevens. Stevens has taught dance, jazz/hip-hop styles and more, and is presently involved with cheerleading in Hoosick Falls.

The girls in attendance hope to continue working on their dance moves to put together routine to present to their families and friends sometime later this year. Regardless of whether they perform or not, the girls had a wonderful time learning new techniques and dance steps.
