Who should attend?
Anyone who lives in or serves the residents of Rensselaer County should join us. We are looking for various perspective on the problem of suicide in our communities. Your input is valuable in helping us define the problem and develop solutions to reduce the risk of suicide.

What to expect?
Fred Meservey, former Executive Director of the Suicide Prevention Center of NYS, will lead an interactive strategic planning session. Fred will provide an overview of the problem of suicide (including local, state and national statistics) and will lead our group through the strategic planning process.

What are our goals?
As a result of these two strategic planning events, the Rensselaer County Suicide Prevention Task Force will develop a 3-year strategic plan that will inform Task Force priorities and action, expand our membership, ensure sustainability, and build continued leadership and infrastructure.
