"The 15th it rain'd all day."

What a summer! Hearkening back to 1777, quite a few of our engagements were delayed by rain. September saw slightly improved weather. Notably we were finally able to show an outdoor film, "The Time of Their Lives" featuring Abbott and Costello. For the first time we offered a tour specifically tailored to the center positions and retreat field, a location shrouded in mystery but elucidated by some tantalizing bits of evidence. We also bid farewell to our volunteer, Jim Ayrey. Jim volunteered his time to greet visitors and share the history of the battle at the hilltop. We thank him for his excellent service! If you are interested in volunteering for the 2018 season, don't hesitate to reach out.

We have no shortage of photos from the August reenactment. Here we have some of the action from "Hessian Hill."

Taken in August, here American militia attack the Tory Fort.

Here is what we have in store for October.

Don't miss the screening of "Hallowed Ground"
