This Saturday, May 20 from 10-4
at the Hoosick Armory!

The Friends of the Bennington Battlefield, in collaboration with the Hoosick Township Historical Society, invite you to a fair including representatives from a wide variety of historic sites and organizations who will share interesting history from Rensselaer County and beyond.

Transportation will be available to take you from the Armory in downtown Hoosick Falls to bring visitors to the battlefield and back again, rain or shine.

No admission fee will be charged, food trucks on-site. Fun for the whole family.

Thanks to everyone who helped out last weekend as part of I Love My Park Day 2023.

Volunteers attacked the trails & flower beds in squads. Battle Loop looks great, as do the grounds in front of the Caretaker's House. We are very grateful to you all!

This year red was in.

If you would like to volunteer next time and get one of these stylish t-shirts, we will see you in May 2024.

Making their debut today are two eagles carved by the very talented Charles Whitman.

Carved with a chainsaw over several days from a single fallen sycamore limb, itself as thick as some tree trunks, they stand guard at our entrance. Check them out on your next visit!
