Visitors will be led through the major points of interest in the first engagement of the battle. A mix of driving and walking is required. In celebration of our 2024 opening, visitors will receive complimentary postcards and stickers. Free, no RSVP necessary. 518-860-9094 for details.

Join other volunteers to beautify the battlefield! Participants will gather in the lower parking area and split up from there. Volunteers may plant flowers (hand tools provided) or help clear trails. Tour of Bennington Battlefield

Hoosick History & Heritage Fair

Saturday, May 18, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Join the Friends of the Bennington Battlefield for the second annual Hoosick History & Heritage Fair at the Armory (80 Main Street, Hoosick Falls) and enjoy a free trolley ride to the battlefield where interpreters will be ready to share the history of the site. Events at the Armory will include a scavenger hunt, book swap, live birds of prey, guest speakers and BBQ lunch. Living historians will be on hand at the battlefield in period dress and will conduct periodic black powder demonstrations. There is no admission fee to visit either location.
