During the 17th century the Hudson River Valley was known as New Netherland and many Dutch traditions were brought to the area. In celebration of one of those traditions, St. Nicholas Day, you are welcome to join a presentation by Erin Czernecki from the Friends of Fort Crailo and enjoy a sampling of feast day treats.

Upcoming Events
October 12th, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM hourly tours of the battlefield will be offered as a part of Path Through History weekend. A mix of driving and walking is required. Visitors will meet under the flagpole.
November 3rd at 10:00 AM there will be an early bird tour of the battlefield. Don’t forget to set your clocks back! This will be the final public tour of the season. A mix of driving and walking is required. Visitors will meet under the flagpole.
November 11th at 11:00 AM the battlefield will host a commemoration ceremony to mark Veterans Day.

NOTICE
The September Planning Board Meeting has been rescheduled. The Planning Board Meeting will be held on SEPTEMBER 30, 2019 AT 7:30 P.M. instead of September 16 2019. The Planning Board does not have a quorum for the September16th meeting.

A New Season and New Opportunities to Get Involved
Saturday, May 4, is "I Love My Park Day" at the site. If you or someone you know has a green thumb, we could use your help with a light gardening project beginning at 10:00 AM. A special bonus project will begin afterward to repair the Tory Fort.

However, as part of our off-season programming, site assistant David Pitlyk will be making the rounds to speak at libraries in the Upper Hudson Library System. His talk will cover the history of the battle, drawing on a number of eyewitness accounts, as well as how it has been commemorated through the years..
