Eleven New Acres Around the Loyalist Breastworks
Visitors to the battlefield will be able to experience the loyalist position in a new way. One can now walk in the shoes of attacking patriots thanks to a new acquisition. In addition to a 7.5 acre parcel where the fighting was hottest, a 3.5 acre strip along the river bank protects a ford likely utilized by fleeing loyalists.

Veterans Day at Bennington Battlefield
The battlefield will host a Veterans Day event on November 11 at 3:00 PM in honor of the service of America's veterans, past and present.
The free program will take place under the flagpole near the hilltop parking area.
Members of the Friends of the Bennington Battlefield in period dress will share the stories of local veterans, and one war widow, throughout history.

The Town of Hoosick April Board Meeting on Monday the 13th will not be open to the public.
It is our intent to meet the NYS Open Meeting requirements as they have been modified for the COVID-19 Health Emergency.
If you are not able to join the actual April Town Board meeting live through Zoom or Facebook the meeting will be recorded and available at a later date on the Town of Hoosick Web site

Governor has announced that the Capital Region will have a new drive through testing site on the UAlbany campus beginning Monday, 4/6.
The site will prioritize tests for individuals that are among the highest risk population.
Residents who would like to be tested must make an appointment by calling 888-364-3065.
